You may have heard of Generative AI, but do you know what it is? Generative Artificial Intelligence is a technology that combines machine learning algorithms and neural networks to create new and original data, such as images, music and text.

HOW IS A GENERATIVE AI CREATED?

This is done through machine learning models, i.e. a subset of Artificial Intelligence that is capable of concentrating various systems capable of learning and/or improving the performance of a database that they consume. There are two neural networks competing against each other: one tries to generate original data, while the other evaluates the authenticity of the data produced. This process of competition and refinement allows AI to continuously learn and improve content generation. Awesome, isn't it?

A good example of this is ChatGPT, an acronym for 'Generative Pre-Trained Transformer', which is nothing more than a language model based on deep learning, another arm of artificial intelligence. It works like this: the platform uses a neural network algorithm to establish a 'chat' model with the user. While this user provides data, the AI continues to 'learn' through countless examples of human language, returning to the chat with increasingly precise answers.
